I have a client who pays himself around the 11th of each month, I have just been doing his bank rec and see he has paid himself again on 1st June. I have already filed the May payroll. As Payroll includes up to 5th of the month which month should this 2nd payment fall in.

I keep doing this - answering a question with a question. I know ts wrong but Im going to do it again anyway. Have you spoken to him to find out if it was just a one off payment or early payment of the June wages? I would then take the opportunity to remind them of RTI. Is it a Limited comapny - if so bung it to the DLA and sort it in June?
Technical term - to bung!!

No need to apologise, sometimes a questions is the only answer, or at least so my kids seem to think!
It is a Ltd company - I will ask him, not hugely good at answering questions! Think there have been personal "cashflow" issues this month looking at the payments going out - will need to remind him that the DLA can only get soo big!
