Contractor and pension
Permalink Closed

Good evening to all

I have a client who has various contractors working for them, there are 2 that are on part time contracts, I have been asked if these will need to be added to the workplace pension scheme, my answer is no. Then it got me thinking, do they have to prove that they are working for other clients so as not to be classed as employed by the company? Is there a time frame which means they will then have to be classed as an employee and not contractor?

I work for a client 4 / 5 days a week but I also have other clients-will I have to be classed as employed by them after an amount of time?

Your input and assistance always appreciated.

Thank you
