Hi All

 

We have a vat deadline for the company on 7th august and what happened is weird. As we were trying to submit the RTI info today, we got an error and then it came to light somebody had changed the online hmrc password. Then we tried to rest password  online and was sure we clicked online request , but at the end of the session it said your password reset will be sent by post!!

 

We called hmrc online service and they said to us to wait till 5th August so that we can rest this again and get the password reset by email. 

 

I was wondering in case if the email option on 5th doesnt work, how can we submit Vat on 7th august and Rti on 5th August? Please advise, any suggestion would be helpful. From what i recall correctly, we could still submit vat as an agent by registering online and submitting vat?

 

Any suggestions will be of great help. thanks
