Hi all

I am trying to generate different departments in Sage which in theory should be straight forward. However, when I click on the departments module it only shows the default department and no others. It says there are up to 1000 of them but I can't add any or edit any other than the 0 default.

Any ideas?

Hi Sam
Have you set up the departments in the Company module?

Company module--> Links pane--> click department etc. More info will be in the help files if you get stuck part way through.

I a using a new version and it doesn't have the same layout, driving me nuts. I will have to email Sage

I got that from 2012 or 13 version. How about this from 2014 my.sage.co.uk/public/help/askarticle.aspx

It doesn't give me the option to add anything just to edit the default
