Advice Please - Vouchers
Permalink Closed

Can someone please give me some advice, can you buy vouchers to give to clients as gifts, is there a limit to the amount a company can buy to gift to a client or a limit on each individual voucher given? Also I understand VAT isn't applied until the voucher is actually spent so when you purchase the vouchers would you enter them as VAT exempt? Thank you for any information given.

You can buy vouchers. They wouldn't appear anywhere on the VAT return, and you would post them to entertaining. This will be disallowed for tax purposes.

Again, this is the same issue as your posting a couple of days ago after one of my posts.

The same protection is extended to all of my fellow contributors on the site.

If a question has already been answered there is no need to repeat their answer as that comes accross as if you are approving their answer. i.e. you feel that you are in some way supperior so are in effect giving other posters a pat on the head to say well done you got it right.

You have made two posts and this is your second yellow card!
