I have been approached to complete the payroll on a weekly/monthly basis for 10 Clients ranging from 2 employees upto 20 employees. I am currently in the process of pricing the work, but due to Sage's software being quite expensive, so is my quote.
Does anyone have any recommendations for payroll software, which is not complex to use and of course cheaper than Sage.
Another vote for Moneysoft. If you get stuck with it at all, there's a few on here who use it, so help should be at hand.
Check the AE staging dates if you can, as you will probably need to up your rates accordingly at that point, to account for the extra admin. Not 100% definite but my prices will probably increase 70%.
First staging date for me is May 2017 at the moment, so a long way off, but ideally I will be using Moneysoft to do it.

I vote Moneysoft too. They are working with some of the pension providers to automate the data upload so I think things will improve in that area. For the main payroll stuff it's a dream to use.
I think i am going to have to have a look at and possibly trial moneysoft. The only thing that worries me is if i need immediate support whilst processing payroll. I noticed on their site that it stated email support :/
Hi
You can phone them as well, although they are not open at weekends. But the system has good help files, is very simple to use and failing that there are plenty of people on here who can answer most queries. Beats the extortionate sage fees hands down. Good for CIS too.
