change of LTD year end?????

Hi. If a limited company has a year end of 28th February, is it necessary to file a change of date, when, like this year, there is a leap year? Thanks

No, it will automatically pick it up as correct on 29th.

Good question Johnny, the answer is no.

I have a client who has a year end of 28th Feb, and I've just checked Company House website and it says "next accounts made up to 29th Feb due by 30th Nov.

Thanks both. Good to know. I was expecting a manual adjustment, then another adjustment to bring it back to the 28th.
