Quickbooks Stock tracking help?
Permalink Closed

Hi

I was wondering if there is anyone here can help me get my head around this?

I am trying to keep a track of my other half's business stock situation. A bit of background... he runs a Car Paint Bodyshop, I was trying to keep track of his paints etc. Due to the nature of the business, he doesn't normally buy items that will be related to a single job, so one tin of primer will do say 10 jobs. I was trialling this on his business before I offer it to any customers, as kind of an experiment! I have been looking at the stock tracking through Quickbooks, but it seems just set up for people who buy something and sell on at a profit. Before I have just been keeping some sort of record in a spreadsheet, but would like the option to just link it to the invoices somehow (without showing up on the invoices to the customer!). Is this possible?

Thanks

Lyndsey
