you might want to aim this sort of offering at the wibbling wrecks working in some of the nonsense "businesses" that make absolutely no commercial sense and are run by people who really shouldn't be allowed to run a business (there seems no shortage of idiots running businesses so you should make a fortune).
I'll allow your advert to stand for a while to be ridiculed by the professionals on here before deleting it later.... Unless the comments are funny in which case I'll let it stand.
So, in a way you will be helping the site members here to relieve their stress levels.

there are a lot of bookkeepers out there who are not suited to this business (and a lot who are).
The real issue is ease of entry to the profession and the way that training in the field is often marketed as a nine to five career where one passes their exams and then earns.
The reality is that its more of a lifestyle choice than a job and some people who are quite able to pass the exams are simply not suited to the sort of demands that this career choice puts on you.
12+ hour days, 7 days a week with constant change and constant learning must be considered the norm so the mindset for this path is as fundamental to it as gaining the right qualifications.
If people are susceptible to stress then rather than being taught how to manage the stress of this industry, really they should be encouraged to find alternate career paths as this one will kill them.
Stress management techniques in this industry (as with banking, law, etc.) are in many ways simply putting an elastoplast over a severed limb.

It sounds like you've got a lot of experience in this industry.
We're also working on a productivity tool to help organisations effectively deal with repeating processes so they run as smoothly as possible. While talking to customers we discovered that a lot were struggling to organise themselves, so we've started offering courses to help that.
If you have some time it would be great to pick your brains about the productivity tool and find out if more experienced bookkeepers/accountants would find it useful.

I would say that ideally before spending too much time and money on development you should ensure that you are not reinventing the wheeel. Ideally you shopuld visit Accountex to ensure that nobody else has similar products to the one that you are developing. Unfortunately you've missed this years show (was on in May).
There have been several threads on here about how people organise themselves which varies from the old desk diary / wallchart / Filofax through to Spreadsheets and specific CRM and ERP software geared towards organisational issues.

Or better still .....we just need that jolly now!
Never mind that she is trying to sell you something and cant even get your name right. Then there is the line about clearly having a lot of experience - frankly I read that like its a put down, sarcastic comment, but the icing on the cake is that you tell her you have a 12hour+ 7 day a week job, but yet still asks for you to spare her some time. Cos she can really help you sort your life out.
Oh and never mind the fact that some of us ex bankers have heard all this twaddle before, but actually do know all about project/time management, Agile and quite a few not named here!!!!!!!!

With regards to our product, we talk to our customers and people in the industry regularly to make sure we're building something that's really useful to them. Their core business isn't building tools, that's what we try to help with. We hope to build great tools so that companies can get on with what's important to them.
The course grew out of discovering that a lot of our customers also had difficulty organising themselves.

in ''the industry'' - what industry? What tools? Very vague. You website doesnt mention Accountancy so Im wondering if you are trying to be too many things to too many people. Fine that you are getting constructive feedback, but they way to do that is not use people's scarce time, perhaps instead by providing part of a product for free, as taster if you like. Of course, an element of market research is fine.

You're right. I should have been more specific and we need to update our website. One piece of feedback that we have been hearing from people is that our sell appears too broad. This is why we are trying to focus in on one industry where we think we can be very helpful.
I was referring to the accountancy and bookkeeping industries.
Our tool is aimed at easing some of the pain for bureaucratic procedures. For business owners this aims at getting new staff up to speed with less time invested, dealing with staff illnesses or holidays, and encouraging making small improvements where possible. For staff it aims to help organise complex procedures so that things never slip through the cracks and delegation is possible when required.
I am sorry if the content is inappropriate and would understand if it was edited or removed from the forum.

They will be gone soon but the rest of the thread will remain. Initially I only left them there as a sacrificial goat / stress relief toy for the bookkeepers here having a hard time and wanting to have a play (so in itself providing stress relief ).
Nadia's responses though have been better and more professional than the normal one's that we get so I've given her a couple of pointers to hopefully help her move forwards and I'll leave those on the site when I clean the thread later tonight.
One worry of course is that the sort of ideas that she's coming out with for the products do seem quite similar to the the sort of CRM and ERP sollutions that are quite often mentioned and amongst ourselves really don't get a lot of uptake. Then again, it is not for us to tell Nadia how to spend her money, all that we can say is look at similar products pushed at accountex and see if there is anything unique about what you are considering (so far I'm thinking this is a case that Nadia simply does not know how many of this sort of product is out there and how little succewss many of them have).
Nadia (assuming that you are reading this as well even though its addressed to Joanne), the key search terms are CRM (Customer Reelationship Management) and ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning). You may be surprised at how crowded that marketplace is.

Thank you for breaking down those acronyms for me. I am aware of them and will continue to do research in those areas. We certainly don't want to make the mistake of building something that already exists or just doesn't work for people. This is why we want to work closely with people such as yourselves.
