Thoughts are my own/not to be regarded as official advice, which should be sought from a suitably qualified Accountant.

Or the old favorites...

"How much to do a tax return"

"I need a tax return doing"

answer to one is "How long is a piece of string"

answer to number two is "And thats my problem how?"

Number two normally has the word "just" embedded in there as anything with the word "just" in it can't possibly be either complex or expensive.

i.e. from the Titanic it seems much less of an issue if the lookout shouts : "Its just an Iceberg" than the alternative of "Iceberg".

In a similar way we have "there are just a few transactions" which sounds ok and couldn't possibly be either time consuming or expensive!
