Expenses to improve a car

I am just going through some car expenses and there are a couple that (imo) improve a car rather than repair costs etc.

Ones for alloy wheels refurbishment and ones for a front spoiler kit.  I'm very much inclined to disallow totally but just wanted to know I'm correct before doing so.

Disregarding whether or not they are a business expense. Was the spolier an entirely new addition? Was there not one on the car already? The wheel refurbishment would be a repair if the wheels before the repair were usable. That's my take
