You can amend it but it has to be sent in on paper. However it won't replace the original filing, it will simply supercede it, and anyone with access to companies house filings will see both.

You used to be able to ask them to use the new instead of the old, hence the mention of fines because in the daftness that is public service, they then viewed the original submission as never having happened and the second submission as late, if indeed they were received after the timescale when the original ones were due. Saved people submitting rubbish and then taking more time to submit the right info I guess, although nowadays it seems like they don't care what rubbish is submatted having seen some of the daftness that goes on. Not looked at the link, but will later if I get chance. Thanks for that John.
