Due to having to go out this morning I set my alarm especially early so that I could fill in a Tax return for a client who needs it ASAP for his mortgage provider only to find that HMRC are doing planned maintenance until 9.00am and you can not access the site to file a return.
So got time on my hands and thought I would log on here and have a moan!

Oh so sorry, I saw that this was happening and should've posted on here yesterday evening, but just got sidetracked with other things and didn't get on the forum at all.
Yes, their system was falling over given it was the last day or the tax year!!!

Not your fault Joanne mine for putting too much faith in HMRC, a bad start for me and it just got worse as the day progressed
So while you were all joking and having fun on a different thread I was having an absolute nightMARE!! and have now decided to call it a day and have a beer.
Cheers

Nooooooooo! Reckon none of course would fare very well at the comedy store, but are proof that Accountants are not boring!!! Not sure who I'm trying to persuade there!
if you called it a day at 17.23 the day certainly got better for you. So how many beers did you have? Hope there is no hangover tomorrow!!
