Loss On Cessation
Permalink Closed

Hi All,

Any advice on the following would be greatly appreciated.

I have a client who has a loss carried forward from last year 2015/16.

Can anyone tell me if he ceases trading in 2016/17, can this loss be relieved  ?

Kind Regards

Stephen

Hi Stephen

My understanding is you can carry forward your losses and set against profits of the same trade and in your final year you can claim terminal loss relief
