Hi, I'm wondering which nominal I should post an Employee Birthday gift to. It's champagne and under £50. Can anyone help?

Dont think I got a response to my last post.

Nominal code - I assume you are using Sage? Or some other software? (Although I dont think nominal codes feature on many others but its useful to know, as each software groups things in different ways)

Hi, thanks for replying. It's actually Quickbooks. I don't mean the actual code, just which account to post it to?

As ever with these things - if you do a few and want to monitor the overall spend, then open a separate nominal/account for it, in the staff costs indirect expenses area. If not - dump it to misc/sundry expenses. (At the very least the same account as the one on your last post I would suggest)
