Hi there :)

Hi all,

Sort of newbie to the forum though I was on here a few years ago when I was dabbling in bookkeeping. I've completely forgotten my old log in details though :)

Anyway, I'm now full-time with my own Company. Going pretty well fortunately but I recognise that I need to expand my knowledge so I've just started studying towards becoming MAAT. How I'm going to fit it in with how busy I am I don't know! However, I've paid for my exams up front so I've got no choice but to get it done :)

Look forward to being part of & contributing to the forum.

Jon

Hi Jon
Welcome to the forum.

So good start to the intro - just to add to this - what exams do you have already/where up to in your AAT studies? What prof body?

Whereabouts are you based?

Self taught up to now so now official qualifications (yet!)

I have literally just started my AAT studies! Registered with AAT & studying with Babington Online.

I'm based in Tamworth, Staffs. I currently have about 25 clients who I look after on a monthly basis & then a few more who I do quarterly/annually.

 Hi  Jonny

Sorry but you need to get rid of the link to your website for now (albeit it might need updating, havent looked). That privilege is only afforded to long term regular contributors.  Im sure by the time you get it updated you could be one of those anyway.

You arent too far from our moderator then!

Are you starting at level 3 with the AAT or back to basics level 2 (which Im sure you will fly through!)

Sounds like you have a thriving business  - be fun managing the study round that!!

edited to lose the 'link' (in a 'quote box')

Link removed :)

I'm starting at Level 2 as I realise that, although I believe I'm pretty good at what I do, what I lack is knowledge of some of the very basic stuff.

Who is the moderator?

Hello Jon,

Welcome back to the forum. It's a great place to be, I should pop in more.

Any favourite software? I'm reviewing my options again....:)
