Invoicing software
Permalink Closed

Hi

May have been done before and if so - then apologies!

Anyone know of any good and free invoicing software?

Client doesnt have accounting software. I do books and invoicing. He has three different trading entities so ideally need to be able to include logos and bank details for all three so they can produce different invoices.  Will also be one Limited company soon.

Currently he is using zervant, which is great up to a point. Bit of a faff when changing trading entities  - have to remember to update banking details each time (potential to mess things up if that detail is mis-quoted!).  Just a few other niggles with it  - probably just me being fussy!

Or perhaps Im asking too much!

Can wait until the January palaver and the next VAT pressure is over, but thought I would pop it on here so I dont forget and its no longer cluttering up my brain!

Hi Joanne

Not free but at around £60 have a look at Sliq Plus.  I use it myself for two businesses as well as a client I do the admin for.  Only niggle I have is the ability to override an invoice no but left to it's own devices works a treat.

Thanks John, I will take a look and see if they do a trial so I can have a play around with it. Knew you used something but couldnt recall what it was!

I dont mind the invoice number override as the software Im using has just introduced that, its more the being able to issue three different trading entity headed invoices (with three different logos) through one limited company set up. If it can do that without me having to constantly change the info then I think he will consider its worth £60 (he will be paying!)

I might actually even email the one Im using and see if they will update their systems to allow for default account numbers for each trading company as they do say they proactively update as required, although Im still waiting for one small annoying thing to be changed!

That muppet spammer from yesterday missed a trick not posting his freebie advertising on the back of this question. I might have been gentler if he hadnt been so damned lazy!

Thanks again

Each company/business is kept in a separate file (similar to Moneysoft Payroll, so all the info for each business is kept separate as well.  There is a trial so worth a play http://www.sliqtools.co.uk/

Did I miss a spammer?  Drat.

Thanks for the link John - saved to trial this week!

There is another spammer today, although wondering if this one will be as cheeky as the last one when called out. This one is trying the lets be friends approach, which is what they have done on three previous posts before dumping their ad! Waste of space!

Hi Joanne

I know, I just responded to Alice.  With 4 attempts over 2 years it's almost like she's part of the family!!!

lol. What a very long lost/looking to be kept in the will type relative?

I like the way she has spent all of 5 minutes looking at our avatars and still think that some of them contain wine. I havent seen any wine pictures.

Ive seen plenty of 'whine' in the messages (albeit not as much as usual from the freeloading section of society!)
