I have just passed the ICB level II Certificate in Bookkeeping and have all 3 text books available for sale. I knew I wanted to sell them on so they're in perfect condition.
They cost £75 for the 3 (inc. postage) so I'm selling them for £37.50 inc. postage to main land UK.
Please let me know if you're interested, payment would be via PayPal (Goods & Services).
Hi Carrie Suggest you allow PM's from your profile, so folk can contact you offline.
Are the books fully up to date with current legislation etc - worth mentioning, including date of publication perhaps and probably, if you havent already, post on the ICB site.
edit. or not

Thoughts are my own/not to be regarded as official advice, which should be sought from a suitably qualified Accountant.
You should check out answers with reference to the legal position
Actually it was. 1/ Did you seriously expect the books to be still available and 2/ did you expect the original poster to respond, considering they've not been on the site since April 2018.

No, I'm not sure I did "expect" the books to be available, however as there is an email notification option, and no sign the books had been taken I decided that it was worth a punt despite the timing of the post. Is that okay with you bud? And how exactly did the previous respondent add value by pointing out what I already knew? Perhaps posts should be removed/closed after a certain period of time has passed - maybe you could decide on how long is acceptable. Should I check with both of you before I communicate with another member in future? Perhaps you get extra points for sniping on this forum. What a warm welcome, cheers.

Hello Sam,
calm down my friend. You are verging on poking a bear with a stick here (Joanne, no, I'm not referring to you as a bear. It's an analogy... Or is it a simily...I digress). One of the most valuable lessons in this business is in turning every conversation into an opportunity to make new friends by meeting comments with non confrontational humour and a bit of humility. When you deal with business owners you will have to face much worse than the gentle ribbing that a misplaced comment may get on here.
This line "lol, thank goodness you don't have anything better to do on a Saturday" does not come across as friendly where the people that you are talking to here are the one's who really help newcomers. Because of the way that you came across you could end up in a downward defensive cycle and lose the opportunity to really learn a lot here as the primary contributors will only invest their time in people who they feel respect them. Lets agree that you could have handled that one a little better. You want to have another go? I sense you're getting a bit defensive so we can just scratch the first few posts and start again.
Right, lets start over,
Hi Sam, welcome to the forum. Tell us a bit about yourself. What makes you want to go down this path. Which body are you studying with (we all read the books of other bodies so that this is an ICB thread is a no never mind).
Shaun
p.s.We don't close old threads unless it's generally felt that they need to be closed. Think that there may be less than a dozen on here that I've felt it necessary to draw a line under.

As Shaun says, let's start over. Welcome to the forum. Perhaps an idea might be to get in touch with the OP and ask her if the books are still available.
You are verging on poking a bear with a stick here (Joanne, no, I'm not referring to you as a bear. It's an analogy... Or is it a simily...I digress). Not a metaphor! Im in hibernation. But there are too many folk currently waving sticks, notably to get their MTD for VAT done with little or no info!

Perhaps I shouldve added 'lol' in front of my first comment.
I think you will do very well with the ICB Sam.
If you stick it out and ask a question, I will endeavour to assist, even on a Saturday. Because despite what you think of me(and frankly I dont give a damn), I like helping people in this mess of an industry.

lol on the prefixing anything with Lol annuling all of the shit that follows it.
I am thinking of Lol now like a dictionary patch the same as Rigby.
p.s. in my mind I always think that our Vince and Gilfoyle (the guy in the vid with the beard) were seperated at birth.
p.s.2 the program is Silicone Valley.
