Hi all, just a quickee

Do you post AA membership (vehicles not drink) to motor expenses or to subscriptions?

Personally I post to motor expenses.

I was surprised to learn recently that Green Flag charge differently according to where you live.  We recently moved 8 miles further down the road, and my premium dropped by £2 a month (and surprisingly my motor insurance by £20 a month)

Cheers John, that was what I was going to do and then for some reason thought about it being a subscription

Maybe you should move 8 miles every year at that kind of saving!

Yes, but the downside is that it's going to cost me an extra £10 ish in travelling costs, because I'm now 8 miles away from my office as well

The good news is that I'm 8 miles nearer to Doncaster, which as Joanne knows I had intended to move a lot nearer to. Unfortunately that never went as planned as the missus was against it.

£10 extra for 8 miles!!!!   Oh you could get the 1.5 to the motorway round this neck of the woods for that, so you are doing quite well!

Thoughts are my own/not to be regarded as official advice, which should be sought from a suitably qualified Accountant.

You should check out answers with reference to the legal position

I should have said £10 a week lol, although to be fair my car does about 60 to the gallon, so a bit less than that.
