The site would need more information.

For example, you mention software but you do not say what services you are looking to offer

You state that you are a member but are you a practicing member?

I note that you are in Pakistan. You should note that this is a UK site

I can find no record of your name on the ACCA list of members. Can I assume that the name in the email address is not you?

I do not think that you will find anyone here looking to offshore their clients.

Regards,

Shaun.

Hi,

Being an independent professional can be really tough. To help, we have launched our online marketing boot camp. We'd like to ask your opinion and in exchange are offering free access. That's £24 of value for £0 in exchange for your feedback. Places are limited so please register if you'd like to be one of the first to complete the online boot camp.

Thanks!

And there's the first rule of marketing. Make people think that there is a limit to a service. i.e. "places are limited".

How is £24 of value defined? The numerous Udemy courses out there often profess to be saving me £190 as for a limited period (about as limited as a DFS sale) the price is only £9.99... So what is the real price?

I've visited the site to check it out. Seems to be a flashy front end for a single course... Have you thought of offering this as a Udemy course as it might be better to push this at a lower price on a site with thousands of courses where people go to look for this sort of thing, rather than £24 for a site with one course on it that no matter how much social media marketing you do people will get there and then compare the offering to courses lasting 10+ hours at under half the price.

Now, you say that the course is free but I'm seeing no free option. I am also seeing no review before purchase as you get with all Udemy courses (you can watch one or two videos to determine whether the lecturer knows what they are talking about and also whether their voice gets on your nerves and you can understand what they are saying!)

Here's some of your competition : www.udemy.com/courses/search/%20strategy&src=ukw

and for free marketing courses (there are 102 of them) try www.udemy.com/courses/search/%20strategy&src=ukw&p=1&price=price-free

I'm sure that yours is a very good course that you are offering on this one course site but if you want it to stand out then it needs to hold its own against competition for which Udemy seems to have become the go to site.

Oh, and for anyone reading this interested in a course that may make them think more about business (no, not you Joanne, you could probably give this course!) I really rate this free business course: www.udemy.com/foundations-of-business-strategy/learn/v4/overview

Its a good thought provoking overview of business strategy which is much better than many of the paid courses and may lead people to read further around the subject.

I'll leave your link for a while so people can make their own judgements.

 Morning Shaun

Theres a button on there that says enrol in course  £24 FREE.  I'm guessing therefore you simply don't pay at checkout, although I ain't going that far to find out!  I can only think that once signed up there will be lots of tempting add ons that will have to be paid for.

Morning boys
Now the website shows as  £20 FREE , hopefully the course is more consistent!

The OP hasnt been back on to respond to folk - so either she needs to go on the course herself or the course didnt teach about follow ups so the course is crap. (IMO its just bloody spam because they didnt even bother to seek permission to dump it!)

The promo tells you nothing.   The course intro tells you nothing.  Therefore neither encourage you to look further.

At least there is some information about the instructor, although he has clearly only worked for large corporates. So therefore is he capable of translating his knowledge to smaller one man bands?  Maybe he is, but maybe he doesnt want to, but lets face it thats the market Lina has decided to pick on when she dredged up an old post (another spam trait, not a great marketing ploy!!!!!!!!!!!).  He doesnt even appear to market said product on his own linkedin page that I can see - great advert!!!!!

I could go on.

I might be tempted to check it out if they gave a bit more away in the promo info. (Even though its free Im not handing my info over just for a look!)
