Avalara- EU VAT Returns

Hi All

I wondered if anyone on here has tried Avalara for submitting their EU returns, I tried searching for reviews without success?  Thanks.

Hi Tony
Waiting for you to trial it, as per www.book-keepers.org.uk/t65090771/mtd/

I only know of one regular responder on here who has actually run an MTD vat return yet and thats Julie, who hasnt needed bridging software yet.

Most of us are waiting for the optimum time to jump (a good 3 months off yet, unless someone else has monthly VAT!)

Hi Cheshire

It wasn't the MTD, it was for them to submit my EU VAT returns, I am MTD ready...(or so I think but reading about the problems so far, I wonder!) I did find pretty bad reviews for the service on Amazon but I would prefer to see if anyone on here had used them.

Cheers

Tony

Apologies, I should have also responded regarding:

Waiting for you to trial it, as per www.book-keepers.org.uk/t65090771/mtd/

My client had the MTD module added to their Sage,I didn't go with Alvalara for the free excel link to MTD.  However, I may still use it with another client who doesn't have the module.I will feedback if I do as I know it is a point of interest/ frustration!!

Tony

Hi Tony
Its Joanne btw.

Im so sorry Im up to my old tricks of only half reading posts! I got as far as Avalara and as MTD is taking over I put two and two together and got five - classic Accountancy trick.

Hi Joanne

No problem, I will update this post as I progress with this.  I assume EU VAT registration and submissions must be something lots of book-keepers are coming across.
