Company Strike Off Time

One of my clients has a dormant company they want to strike off. If they use the DS01 form how long does it normally take for the company to be dissolved?

Hi Simon

Approximately 2 months.  Just check that HMRC aren't expecting any tax returns (they shouldn't be if it's dormant as long as they know that)

Hi Simon

I was going to say around the 3 months mark, but in all honesty I have never had to do one where as I am pretty sure John has.

Hi Doug

It used to be 3 months but it changed a year or two ago.
