Is it just me thinking this, but are these on the increase?

tell you what, we'll get their IP addresses and then pop aroud to their houses and ask them if they understood the answer
More seriously. Yes, here are a lot of people out there who think only of themselves and have zero consideration for anyone elses time.

The ones making me laugh are the I will do your work for free job posters, who miss the blindingly obvious off their posts then never come back on to see if someone has offered them the job they are wanting. I used to prompt them to do the blindingly obvious but these folk really are too stupid and dont deserve to be employed until they have learned some common sense.
Never mind the fact, which has clearly never crossed their minds, that the posting is one chance to make a good first impression.
Ive decided if I see a 'oh be gentle with me' Im going to just respond with 'only if you arent rude when we do eventually have a go at answering your question'.
Dumb Q - we always said there was no such thing, but yes there is. There really is.
99.9% of folk only think of themselves these days - sad indictment of the world.
