Hi All, We have several employees on furlough, now one person wants to take some holiday. Do I do one submission with the remaining employees for the full month and then another one for the employee who wants the holiday as they can't be furloughed for the holiday period.
They can still take holiday whilst furloughed. All you need to do is to pay the full wages (at 20/21 rates) and claim 80% furlough as usual. (The furlough rate based on the usual criteria, which may be different from the 20/21 rate.
For example, a client is wanting his two staff to take 2 weeks holiday, and has given the statutory notice (4 weeks in this case) Holiday will need to be paid at £8.72 an hour (new NMW rate) but will claim furlough at 80% of £8.21 an hour (old NMW rate)
Edited to add further info.

Rather than start a new furlough thread I thought I'd tack this on here.
Am I right in thinking that the furlough amount is either based on the average of 19/20 or the same month in the previous year?
Does this mean March 2019, April 2019, May 2019 etc?
If so I have slightly under claimed for April for one employee and considerably under claimed for May. Can I correct the errors on the June claim? I know you can correct an over payment by an additional bit when claiming but not aware of a similar process for under payments.
