Hi

My name is Sam and and I am a newbie to this forum.  I work for a small business as an Office Manager and have taken on book-keeping as part of my role!  I have been book-keeping for just under 6 months, have no formal qualifications other than being organised!!  I am hoping to underpin my learning with a qualification one day as soon as I can find time but at the moment I am learning on the job and that is why I have joined this forum!

 Hi

Out of interest, what support are your employers providing for your bookkeeping training?

Do you have the support of a qualified line manager?   Or Accountant?

Get them to cover your course costs for the AAT, its the least they can do.

I do have full support from our Accountants, which is useful! What do you suggest training/qualification wise?

Hi Sam

Welcome to the forum

I would suggest AAT as well.

Hi Sam :) I agree with the posters above. The AAT is a good basis for your training.
