Anyone else had an issue with 12pay not giving out P60's?
Message I get is: Error printing P60 (There was an error parsing the PDF file. The PDF is likely corrupt or invalid)
I can produce PDF P60's for earlier years but nothing for the current year.
Never had this issue in previous years.
I'm suspecting the software is getting its knickers in a twist because it doesn't have a 2021/22 NI table yet and the act of filing has moved everything into the new year. But grateful for anyone elses thoughts (Shame Tom isn't around anymore)
All the best,
Shaun.

Why would it need the 21-22 NI tables? The error suggests it's an issue with creating the PDF, although I'm flummoxed as to why it's letting you do earlier years if that's the case.
Just a suggestion, and I've no idea if this will work, go to print rather than pdf, then select PDF instead of printer.
Also not sure if this is in anyway connected, but try the suggestion here if it is
its not at the stage where its producing the PDF as such but rather the process of attempting to generate it from the information that it holds so the PDF part itself may be a wild goose.
My idea about the NI tables relates to it trying to find information that isn't there (and it doesn't need!) and the program going wrong because of a lack of data that it thinks that it needs. i.e. the process of filing an FPS moves the data forwards a period into a new year and creating the P60 uses the data on system to create the P60 from scratch rather than it being stored seperately.
Thankfully its not the old days where we would need to file a P14 as its all wound up in the same thing. Once we have the NI tables for 2021-22 loaded which has to be by next month I'll know whether my analysis of the issue was correct. I've got until May to get the P60's anyway but would have been nice to produce them at the same time as filing the FPS.
Worst case scenario I write the P60's out long hand (there are only a handful)... It'll be like a trip down memory lane to the "good" ol days
All that I can say is that nothing like this ever happened on Tom's watch!
Shaun.

Just to let everyone know that the issue was resolved as soon as the latest NI tables were released with version 1.22.73
Cheers Maat. Appreciate what you said there but it was that the software issue was uncontrolled rather than getting a warning message.
All good again now :)
Shamus.
