I'm a complete newbie to forums as well as bookkeeping as a profession
I studied to AAT Technician level in the early 2000s, all the units were achieved except the Managing Accounting System project...arrggghhhh!...so never got the MAAT
Went on to manage a small business using Quickbooks Desktop Pro but lost my job earlier this month
I've been advised I can re-join AAT & apply for the AATQB a I have completed level 3 just wondered if anyone has any experience of this?
In the meantime I am setting up my business (weetradeassist) to offer practical help - bookkeeping, admin, secretarial etc - to small businesses in my area
I have been told you can "get" your AATQB if you've completed your level 2 Foundation and Level 3 AVBK Advanced Bookkeeping and FAPR Final Accounts Preparation
Don't quote me on that it's just what someone said to me when I asked the same question. The best bet would be to contact A.A.T. direct and the friendly people there would advise you

all the best Andy
AATQB qualification and AATQB licence are two different things, latter requires more than just exam passes
