Hi I am currently a sage user but I have been asked to help a business with their accounts using QB online.

I have had a look at what they have done so far and am struggling to figure out whats going on.

I can see that they have posted some items as an expense but used the sales category? am I going mad.

They have completed their VAT returns outside of QB and its all a bit of a mess.

Any help would be appreciated

Hi Lisa,

Maybe start by finding out how the postings were made. I've seen some very odd results from poorly set up bank feeds in QB. Could they be the source of the problem?

Regards,
