Good morning all, We have just paid our first quarters PAYE and noticed that the first two months employers allowance had not been taken into account. On questioning this with HMRC, they informed me that they had off set the first two months against an outstanding balance from the previous year. No one was actually employed before April of this year, but as the scheme had been set up prior to April, HMRC had guessed amounts due as no submissions had been made. They have told me to make submission for the last tax year, stating no employees, but Xero will not let me make an earlier year submission, or do an unscheduled pay run. Can anyone help at all?
