ICB Exemptions with Degree

Hi, Im hoping someone can help.

I currently have a degree in Accounting which is fairly recent however I would like to undertake the ICB qualification to ideally become self-employed further down the line. Has anybody been in a similar situation where they have a degree have been able to gain some exemptions. I have checked the ICB website however there little to no mention of the exemptions with University Degree. I have reached out to ICB directly via phone call a few times but havent managed to get through and no email response as of yet either. Just looking for some advice in the meantime, thanks in advance.

Hi, you should be able to apply for exemption, where ICB would probably request transcripts, etc, to show that your degree coverage was relevant to their own qualifications. I work for a college offering ICB and AAT training and if you want to email me some details of your degree, etc, I can go through one of my own contacts to get you some clarity: brian@idealschools.co.uk
