The ICAEW enjoys a good reputation and widespread recognition within the UK, and holding their membership can serve as evidence to potential employers that you have met their rigorous standards and possess the knowledge and skills essential for the profession. The other thing as well is Being an ICAEW member provides you with chances to connect with other professionals, attend industry events, and establish connections with prospective employers. Many UK employers actively seek candidates with ICAEW membership or qualifications when hiring for positions in accounting and finance

Now to be fair as well, while ICAEW membership can enhance your job prospects, it is not the sole factor considered by employers. Relevant work experience, effective communication skills, and a cultural fit within an organisation is also a big part in securing a job. So your best bet is to complement your ICAEW membership with other job-seeking strategies and professional development efforts.

Not that you have been back on.
Membership alone no.
Qualifications maybe.
Qualifications and experience more so.
