Looking for job experience
Permalink Closed

Hi everyone,

Circumstances led me to leave IT and do Level 2 and 3 AAT bookkeeping and become AATQB biggrin all went smooth. I am trying to find a job to gain experience so that I can be self employed.  All the job ads and I mean all of them ask for at least 1 year bookkeeping experience.  I am happy to work for free in order to gain the experience. I am not rich but I have a side business that keeps me going.  I am intetested to know from those who have gone through this experience that I am going through now what they have done to overcome the experience obstacle. What worked what didn't work.  Any thoughts or input is much much appreciated smile

Why would someone put themselves out to train you for you to then set up in competition?
