VAT on imports
(Preview)
I have a new client who imports jewellery from China. She regularly receives invoices from DHL which show Duty and VAT that have to be paid on imports. For example there was one today where the VAT was £296.93, the Duty was £43.24, and the Admin fee was £6.80. Is the 296.93 allowable in the VAT Return?
