Hi there, I have a client who's business is to keep alpacas on a farm, sell fleece and hopefully breed alpacas to make money. He has a receipt for 2 alpacas entry fee to gwr alpaca fleece competition, is this an allowable expense?.

Is anyone able to explain this to me!! If someone is working on a 'self-employed' basis ie raising invoices for the company they work for but only working say 4 hours a week at £10 per hour - do they still have to register with HMRC as self-employed? Your help is much appreciated!!
